CIRCUS EXTREME - BELFAST - BOUCHER ROAD PLAYING FIELDS - 2024 WORLD TOUR

Circus Extreme is excited to return to Belfast in 2024 as part of its World Tour. This unique performance has been five years in the making and showcases some of the world's most talented performers.

Belfast was chosen as a special location for Circus Extreme due to its rich cultural diversity. As a major hub for creative industries, it’s the perfect place to celebrate the dynamic,artistic, and breath-taking nature of the circus.

Blending modern and contemporary elements with extreme stunts and classic clown acts, the jam-packed Circus Extreme production promises to leave audiences amazed with thrilling,edge-of-your-seat performances.

Acts include the Ayala Troupe,known for their award-winning high-wire performance. This Guinness World Record-holding act has traveled the globe and was most recently featured at the renowned Monte Carlo Circus Festival.

The Danguir Troupe will showcase their daring wheel of death stunt, including a double somersault. This troupe previously starred in the iconic Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey Circus in the USA.

Fresh from their European tour,the EXTREME® freestyle motocross team will deliver breath-taking stunts inside the Big Top as their pilots soar through the air, performing cliff-hanger tricks like the superman and nac nac. Competing for space in the sky, these riders are sure to get adrenaline pumping with their gravity-defying mid-air back flips.

The EXTREME® stunt riding team will also perform the Globe of Death, one of the most dangerous acts ever attempted. This stunt subjects riders to G-forces similar to those experienced by fighter pilots as they loop both vertically and horizontally inside a steel mesh sphere. It’s a must-see for thrill-seeking petrol-heads!

Direct from Brazil, Marlon Ferreira will walk upside down high in the Big Top, delivering a jaw-dropping performance of agility, trapeze, and balancing skills in a distinctive style created for this new show.

World-renowned Henry the Prince of Clowns, a legendary circus icon, will entertain the crowd throughout the performance.

British star Laura Miller will present her internationally acclaimed aquatic aerial ring act, combining the elements of fire, water, and air. This mesmerizing performance unites grace,beauty, stunning lights, and music, transporting the audience to a sci-fi-inspired world.

Additionally, there will be death-defying aerial stunts, including the unforgettable Aerial Duo Polischuk,one of the few acts in the world to perform mid-air stunts while holding each other by their teeth at the top of the Big Top.

South American street bike legend Paulinho will bring high-octane energy with his display of wheelies, stoppies,and burnouts. He’ll be joined by our troupe of dancers and musicians, all bringing their own unique twists to the show.

The show will run for approximately two hours and is housed in Europe’s Largest Touring Circus BigTop, which is climate controlled and features comfortable theater-style seating.
